Vermont Flight Academy, located at the Burlington International Airport, is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation that offers flight training and instruction for students pursuing a Private Pilot Certificate as well as advanced professional pilot certificates and ratings.
Vermont Flight Academy works in conjunction with Vermont Technical College for flight training as part of their 4-year BS Degree in Aviation for those students who want an aviation-specific education.
Three FAA-approved flight simulators are on site at the Vermont Flight Academy. Using these sophisticated flight-training devices enhances training and reduces costs of acquiring flight credentials.
Our students have access to a fleet of 13 aircraft, including Cessna, Piper, and Citabria airplanes. Our staff of 12 experienced professional pilots and FAA Certified Flight Instructors is unprecedented. Their combined experience amounts to several hundred hours of flight training experience.
